Who operates this website
This is the campaign website for H.E. Basamba Drammeh and the Gambia Action Party. The campaign team handles website inquiries and privacy requests at contact@votebasamba.com.
Information you choose to provide
Contact forms collect your name, email address, subject and message. Volunteer forms collect your name and email, with optional general region, preferred volunteering area and message. Event-interest forms collect your name and email. Update-interest forms collect your email. Each form requires consent for its stated purpose. Please do not include identity documents, financial details, health information or other unnecessary sensitive information.
How information is used
The campaign uses submissions to respond to inquiries, coordinate voluntary participation, answer event questions or record a request for campaign updates. An ordinary website visit is not treated as evidence of political affiliation. Consent to one form’s purpose is not automatically consent to unrelated communications.
Storage, notifications and campaign access
Submissions and consent are stored using Lovable Cloud. Access through the campaign management area is restricted to authorized administrators. A notification is sent to contact@votebasamba.com through Lovable’s managed email service. If the notification fails, the saved submission remains available to the campaign team. The recipient mailbox may retain its own copy.
Campaign updates
Submitting an update-interest form records your request; it does not mean a newsletter has already been sent. Automated bulk newsletters are not sent by this website’s app-email service. You may withdraw your request by contacting the campaign.
Cookies, technical data and service providers
Administrator sign-in uses browser storage to maintain authenticated sessions. Hosting and communications providers may process technical request information needed to operate their services. The site uses Google Fonts, which makes requests to Google when fonts load. No campaign-installed advertising trackers or visitor analytics are configured in this website’s source. Hosting-level logging may still occur. Form-abuse prevention stores hashed identifiers and submission timing; these are not used to infer political preferences.
Security and retention
Access controls protect submissions in the application, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. The campaign should keep submitted information only as long as needed for the purpose, operational follow-up and any applicable obligations. This website does not promise an automatic deletion schedule. You can ask the team to delete or correct a submission, including copies in its mailbox where applicable.
Your choices and requests
Email contact@votebasamba.com to request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of communications consent. Include enough information to identify your submission without sending unnecessary sensitive details. The campaign may need to confirm your identity before responding and will consider any applicable legal obligations.
Minors
These forms are intended for adults. Minors should contact the campaign through a parent or guardian rather than submit personal information independently. If you believe a child’s information has been submitted, contact the campaign so it can review and remove it where appropriate.
International processing and external links
Lovable Cloud, email, hosting and font services may process information outside The Gambia. Their own service terms and privacy practices also apply. External websites and media services have their own policies; review them before providing information.
Changes and contact
This notice may be updated when campaign practices or services change. The date above identifies the current version. For privacy questions contact contact@votebasamba.com. This notice should be reviewed for applicability to The Gambia before final legal sign-off.
